Kate Quinn is an oil painter from Brisbane, who specialises in joyful, vibrant, colour-saturated floral still life. Kate finds inspiration in the everyday beauty of the home, as well as the natural environment, and enjoys combining flora, birds, ceramics, textiles and fruit in her compositions. Kate paints full time from her home studio, always with her little rescue dog Jessie asleep under the easel. Kate is also a social worker, keen amateur photographer, flower grower, and mother of three.
