CECILIA BATTAINI

Cecilia Battaini is an illustrator and surface designer from Milan, Italy. Flowers, animals, plants, mushrooms, fruits and veggies... nature is the main inspiration behind her whimsical and dreamy world and is featured in all her illustrations and patterns. Her favourite way to collect inspirations is traveling: she takes pictures of the flora she finds and then creates her drawings once back in her studio. All her illustrations are hand-drawn with coloured pencils, to be after scanned on her laptop and arranged through Photoshop into patterns and illustrations.

Her artworks are featured on wallpapers, home decor, greeting cards, fabrics and many more products. She works on commissions or licenses her creations to small businesses, independent clients and large brands and also hosts workshops and courses about art therapy and botanical illustration.
